Consultant, Web Analytics

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager Account configurations
  • Support website and booking engine tagging efforts. QA and Troubleshoot JavaScript code
  • Analyze website performance and conduct custom/ad-hoc analyses on large datasets
  • Mine, develop and distribute industry benchmarking data
  • Consult directly with customers as a subject matter expert on website trending and performance metrics
  • Provide day-to-day support and work collaboratively with a team of analysts
  • Support system tools and other miscellaneous tasks

Qualification and Experience:

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Google Analytics knowledge
  • Google Tag Manager (or equivalent) knowledge (preferred)
  • Familiarity with log-based clickstream tools (Omniture, WebTrends, and Urchin) is a plus
  • Web Analytics terminology and common KPI’s knowledgeSQL/MySQL knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & JavaScript
  • Outstanding MS Office Skills –Advanced Excel level required
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Motivated and creative with the ability to self-manage
  • Quick Paced, Quick Learner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
