Principal Consultant, Analytics

Job Responsibilities

The Principal Consultant,  Analytics will play a vital role in leading and managing consulting and analytics engagements and teams. He/She will maintain and develop client relationships as required. He/She will manage managers as well as consultants to prioritize objectives in order to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction and targeted results. 

Our clients drive “the integration of consumer, shopper, and market understanding to catalyze business growth across all of our brands”. They work closely with the Fractal in leverage insights and drive guide portfolio strategies and optimize initiatives for their leading brands.


  • Lead, recruit, grow and retain high-calibre analytics talent at scale 
  • Ensure excellence in delivery to internal and external customers
  • Create and implement a shared vision for data analytics applied to product development and delivery
  • Build roadmap for analytics working with thought leaders and other stakeholders at Fractal and respective client group
  • Empower consultants to move across existing opportunities up the analytics value chain
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for applying unique, state of the art analytics solutions at respective client group
  • Foster innovation and leverage new technologies
  • Champion culture changes needed to pursue our Analytics strategy
  • Build deep partnerships with clients


  • Knowledge of variety and advanced analytic and research approaches.
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one of R, SAS or Python’s (preferred).
  • Expert-level proficiency in statistical/ML predictive techniques such as regression, Bayesian methods etc.
  • Good to have working experience in one or more of  time series modeling, advanced predictive modeling, SEM, GLM, GLMM, clustering and related areas
  • Ability to independently manage engagements from start to finish, delivering actionable insight within established timelines and budget
  • Demonstrated ability in driving business impact through the application of analytical techniques. Understanding and leveraging the connection between data structures, analytical methods, and business applications.
  • Experience in marketing research or analytics; domain expertise in applying is a strong plus. Ability to interpret research findings for multiple audiences, extract insights and communicate effectively. Experience working in a consultative capacity (internal or external) is a strong plus
