Principal Consultant, Digital Analytics

Job Responsibilities

Client Engagement:

  • Partner with strategic clients to help them map their business goals into optimal marketing programs through incorporation of digital analytics, attribution modeling & optimization
  • Lead client engagements/ assignments and ensure appropriate resource allocation & utilization during the course of the projects
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet client expectations, and they adhere to all regulatory requirements

Capability Development:

  • Understand client’s business questions and able to develop solution architecture especially in the area of digital marketing & ROI, campaign analytics using DMP etc
  • Work with the team to help build cutting edge solutions by developing & testing modular, reusable, efficient and scalable code on a suitable platform
  • Able to guide and train colleagues across the organization on digital solution methodologies

Qualification & Experience

Digital Marketing & ROI:

  • Experience in building statistical multi-channel attribution models to estimate offline-online synergies along with direct their impacts using aggregated time-series data.
  • Ability to understand & analyze digital data with best-in-class web analytic tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture, Webtrends, CoreMetrics etc. to perform conversion funnel analysis, landing page optimization etc.

Digital Campaign Analytics using DMP:

  • Good understanding of digital targeting via Ad Servers, DSPs, SSPs through Data Management Platforms (DMPs).
  • Ability to create target segments for digital re-targeting campaigns using statistical /machine learning algorithms, design offers & measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Desirable experience with Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Should be well versed with open source tools/platforms such as R, Python, or others to assemble, manipulate, analyze and model digital data.
  • Experience, of using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire etc.) and presenting recommendations in a clear and concise way.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to creatively solve business problems, innovating new approaches where required.
  • Experience in interfacing with clients or high-level executives with outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have project management skills and have experience managing multiple work streams at one time.

Education: Master’s degree (MSc / MA / MTech / MBA or PhD in a statistics (or economics).

Experience: 7+ years of experience with analysis & solution development primarily in the area of digital analytics.
